Hello Can anyone help? I want to stain my floor boards like this photo but have no idea whether to use staying/wax/oil or varnish. And if varnish would this be a gloss varnish or a satin? I’ve tried different wax and oil but it doesn’t seem to be as dark. Thanks in advance
Water pop the floor first, this will give a more consistent and darker coverage, then finish with s lacquer, personally I like bona mega or traffic, bona recommend putting it on thick so it self levels, satin should be fine, it will give a shine but not too much as to show every little mark
