Great morning at last. Had a fella I know who does tip runs and recycling so I got him to pick up a van load of samples and 3 stands I don’t want.

Got rid of a laminate stand , 3 LVT stands that are old and cheap.

But mainly carpet samples. Must of binned 50 boxes.
A lot of lifestyle , Tomkinson , headlam rebranded and a lot of cheap thick carpets.

Felt good. Just hope I’m not in the shop when certain reps come in.

I did a similar thing on boxing day, it's surprising how much stuff builds up,still ended up with about 100 sample books left, so i built a 2m×1m table that holds about 80 of them, at least now i can see what I've got, instead of stacks all over the shop

    No mate. Long process.
Removed all the spare racking above.
    Old Staircase gone.
    Out will old stands
Now got to move gear about to make room for the new wall I’m building.

Choca with work though so it’s getting time.

We give all our old carpet samples to a bunny sanctuary... Really. They come pick them up.

We have an old bloke that takes the bigger ones and sells them at car boots as mats
