    Same here
Way I look at it is its essential for me to go work where possible because I got Bill's to pay. Nothing else been said to reassure the self employed are going to be 'properly' looked after so its essential I go work. My job tomorrow is unoccupied aswell

Don’t know how this will all work. Very vague what we can do.
I have 2 wet rooms to do for a Bulider for the housing in disabled houses. If they don’t get done they have no shower for weeks maybe months.

I had an email for a sizeable developer yesterday. They have sites which are running for 15+ years, so there big.
They are closing all of there sites today, being open this morning just so tools etc can be collected.
I emailed another main contractor last night, and he too was closing all existing sites today.
I don`t believe any site can stay open and comply with the rules there talking about.
I have a house to complete today for a friend, so will be doing that, then were closing up.
My lads are all paye, so I am trying to sort out this 80% of wages thing.

They say manufactures can stay open.......personally think it’s pointless as I doubt that anything can be delivered.

The roads didn't seem any quieter this morning, even a burger van open for business and i bet the supermarkets will be packed today, one of my staffs other had is ex army and he's been told there is a possibility of a recall, i think there is a real possibility of ending up with army and police out in force on the streets

This had to happen because people are too stupid,,all those people who thought being off work and having the kids off school was a good opportunity for a family day out

Just had an email from a supplier, telling us deliveries and collections will stop on the 27th and credit facilities have been suspended, i assume they are not optimistic about all shops surviving this

So, as the day went on, only one MC has actually closed there site.
The three others we are on will remain open, as they are following government guidelines.
I have just seen it myself, and government advise is sites will stay open, and, as construction workers cant work from home, they
can travel to and from site.
Then they moan that people are using the tube/public transport.
The guidance is very unclear, but if a site is open, were contract bound to comply with program, or risk penalty clauses.
If they want everyone to stay at home, this needs to be addressed urgently.

I don't expect they will all be taking a packed lunch to work, instead of queuing up at the local bakery

All of our sites are staying open and adhering to the 2m rule, only 1 trade in a plot at a time(how it should be anyway). However, a lot of trades work in a 2 man team, i work with my brothers who dont live under the same roof as me, i am effectively breaking the rules because they want to beat around the bush giving employed people a months paid holiday whilst we act as cannon fodder to keep their economy going. Disgusting
