Good Afternoon, We just had a new floor put down and had many issues with the beading, this is the second install as the first was atrocious. So we have a bay window, they tried to put down wood beading full length and it kept breaking, they broke maybe 2 lengths and just gave up. they capped the ends leading the the bay window Picture attached. They also left this corner and said that was acceptable. Picture attached. So my question is should they be able to either work with beading in some form and get it to be more bendable or smaller lengths? As as this looks they have left me as this is a job completed in their eyes now.
With patience the beading can be done, done it many times. I just bend it as far as I feel and leave it over night then fit it next day of it's that tight but usually do it there and then
maybe an option could be using rope. ive seen it used in houses as an alternative to scotia and glued down
