    Hi,

I’ve had two quote to lay an LVT floor across two square rooms (simple sh. apes no fiddly bits) over a weyroc wooden subfloor Covering approx 38sqm. The house is about 25 years old so not old and rickety.
One guy has come back quoting around £1,500 for installation which would include putting a full subfloor leveller down. Another chap saying would only be doing a feathered finish for the leveller over the joints and dips, he’s saying £750.
    Both come recommended.

Wondering if the low one is lower than you’d expect or the high one higher than normal as there’s quite a difference?

    Thanks in advance!

Both wrong. It needs overlaying with ply and then feathered or screeded.
Excluding supplying tiles I would be closer to your first price.

Yeah , 6mm FG1 or SP101 plywood then either feather finish or a fibre smoothing compound.
