I recently put latex down on some old tiles as the site manager believed it had asbestos in and didn’t want the expense of disposing of it properly. Not to surprised when it blew, ( yes I did it anyway) only half the room blew thou ?? I have redone the latex on the half that blew and now he doesn’t want to pay for it. The client wants a short paragraph of why it happened. I used 2 or 3 different products on the floor from old jobs. They were all still in date.

Old tiles? Vinyl tiles? Ceramic tiles?
