Plying twice

    Customer wants lvt fitting in hallway they have previously had laminate on fibreboard and fitted under skirtings so there will be a gap of around 18mm. Sp101 is not done 15mm, would it be ok to fit 9mm and then 6mm over the top or are we best using 18mm. The customer has already decorated so won't move the skirtings.

    I do double layers all the time for the same reason Its actually better that one layer of 18

    Use 12mm osb board to keep the cost down

    It’s still going to look crap fitted on ply. I would top it with a flexi levelling compound

    Thanks for all your comments, we're only quoting for the job at the moment, I think they're looking at the cavalio projectline.
