    Hi,

I'm about to add 60mm of concrete to a back room to bring it level with the rest of the house. I was planning to use a self levelling compound on the last 5mm to get it as level as possible (don't feel too confident using screed myself).

Can anyone advise how long I would need to let the concrete dry before applying the self leveller?

    many thanks

Roughly 1mm a day to 50mm anything more double the time as a rough guide to naturally dry out in perfect conditions, or as was said grind off the laitence, wait 4 weeks and perform a moisture test then take it from there.
