Been asked to put Karndean on a staircase.

Done loads in commercial properties and always used Gradus nosing etc.
However, been asked to replace a stair crept in a house with Karndean (they originally wanted Laminate but I talked them out of that) , can anyone recommend some 'nice' nosings that won't look too industrial. Will obviously be a small bullnose step.
    Cheers.

Bendybull, before they were available, i used to use standard nosings but with a mirror finish and use the product in the insert, just another option

Stair rods Ali wraps ,they are proving popular with myself . Think most people prefer the look of the Ali wraps over the bendy bulls . Either that or it’s the price lol

I've only fitted ali wraps but i think rounded looks much better. I've seen a few pictures of people using ali wrap for all but the step with the curve, seems a good idea

It's also possible to fit the karndean straight over the steps without a nosing

Bendy Bull is most prob your best bet but you could the Stair-rods Nose LVT perfect 90 stairs. I would like to find a plastering edge type trim for 90 stairs.. reckon that would look better.

You're always gonna have to use some form of edge type, you cant butt even on a 90. Won't last and will crap. Plus you want it to look right and last, no call backs :)

Thanks for the tip re Quickstep Livyn stair profile. Personally I'd prefer just a silver edge bead so the lvt would be fitted direct to. This way hardly any edge profile. The eye should be drawn to the lvt not nose profile to my mind.

Stairrods now do a divider profile, I've been using a similar one primarily for mattwells, but also on the odd single step, it fits under the ply on the tread and overhangs the riser by the thickness of the lvt, then butt the lvt up to both edges, so on the tread you have about 2mm of profile showing and the riser 8mm of profile showing, sorry it's not a great explanation
