    anyone used this?
Whats it like compared to flexy?
Can get dozen tubes of it for same price as flexy and hear people raving about it.

CT1 has less than half the bond strength of Flexyfix and takes 6 times longer to cure. Also there will not be a warranty for your Stair Nosings and no flooring technical support available.

Wasn't thinking of using them for nosings anyway, just grippers and steel/wooden door strips mainly but if its that crap then I wont bother

I’ve ordered some as my carpet fitter said it’s decent.

It's better than silicone but mostly used by plumbers

The first thing you will notice is how much longer you have to wait before you can continue working, particularly with grippers.

The Murexin X-Bond MS-K511 600ml sausage is a parquet adhesive and takes 48 hours to cure. It's fine for a wood floor installation but it isn't really designed for trims and gripper installations where time matters.

Does anyone use hot melt guns? I was looking through a price list a couple of weeks ago and there seems to be a bigger variety of sticks available now, for different purposes

Hot melt ok to grab but still need something like flexi to hold thresholds. Also don’t like hot melt for gripper. Hot melt too brittle and snaps off. It’s ok for sticking carpets
