    Hello all.
I have been attempting to fit Coretec Herringbone flooring. The initial run went together fairly easily in a younger and groove manner.
However when it came to fitting the following runs and the edge and corner cuts, the foam core material which the tongue or groves are made from seems incredibly brittle and quickly snaps when trying to feed the tiles in.
On their website/YouTube instructional video the guy simply places them in with minimal force and the odd soft tap.
Sorry can’t add link as new user
    (edges- 1m38s)
    (Following rows- 2m36s)
I can only get one edge in at a time and to get the other edge in requires some force on a knocking block.
the biggest problem is however for edges etc, it is almost impossible to get enough purchase on the edge (due to diagonal direction) and if you do, you risk knocking the pattern out.
Has anyone worked with this coretec herringbone floor and had similar issues? Any advice would be hugely appreciated as if there is a “knack”, I clearly don’t have it ?

I have fitted Karndean and anticipation many a time when I trained up a good few years ago. However this is the first time with Coretec and it seems incredibly brittle. Again maybe just a “knack” to develop but wanted to see if others with experience of other LVTs had any similar issues or advice. Oh... and thanks or your constructive comment

    Hi mate. Thanks for reply.
Wasn’t heated at first but now is.
Similar issues persist but developing a feel for the stuff.
Great once down and locks really tight but being herringbone, it’s more getting the grip in an angle when needing to force it together on edge cuts.
still seems like it’s taking much more force than examples but think that’s the way with installation info from manufacturers eh?
