Got a job of removing lvt from a hallway and toilet then fitting sheet vinyl afterwards, I tried uplifting a little in one corner and when I peeled the tile back, screed came up with it , just after advice on getting it up with minimal damaged to floor and how I should go about prepping it afterwards . Apologies for my ignorance, it’s first time I’ve been asked to Remove LVT .
You will most likely need a bully scraper like a Wolff stripper or duro or similar. If the screeds coming up it’s going to all have to come up too. Remove all the lose screed. Identify the subfloor, take moisture readings and then you can start the new prep Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you can’t remove all of it because it’s stuck so well I would case it with a moisture tolerant levelling compound and use a floating system over the top. Will still a moisture test tho Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
