First site ive been on that was closed up today.
Several guys have tested for covid, so they decided to close up for 10 days.
Any one had the same ?

We all went for a test yesterday as a precaution, and two of us are positive.
So, yep 10 days at home........
That means an invoice is on its way !

I feel sure we must all have it, despite the test for some being negative.
We live in the same house, have been traveling in the same vans, all eat together etc.

I think the rapid testing (30 min) has a very poor accuracy rate.
We did an overnight one which I think are supposed to be better, but still not 100%

My lad had it few months ago, he was gutted he couldn't go work so used our gym at the back of the garden and said its the strongest he ever felt :D
Had no symptoms but him and the other lads turned up to site (he's a sparky) and got told to get tested due to another on site testing positive so they shut it down for 14 days.

Its so weird how it effects people so differently....
I know someone who had the vaccine last week, and spent 4 days in bed shaking !

I wonder if sites will close ?
This lock down is certainly not like the one we had last year.
The roads are less busy, but still busy, in London anyway. Also, when im driving home, there are people everywhere.

There was a new build big site near my suppliers that was shut down lastweek also but they let the big trucks in dropping off supplies but wasn't allowed out their trucks, it just looked like 3 fork lifts on stand by stock piling gear all week.

2nd one in a month I know of so far.

What gets me is that one person can be positive in the household yet the rest of the people can carry on as usual unless they have symptons.
That's how it spreads. We all have it, unless you get tested and by luck it says positive at that point then you all should stay off in the household. That brings me to think, if it dies off after 10-14 days then people should stay in unless it says negative. Problem is test isn't accurate as said.

Exactly that. If someone in my house got it I would get all of us tested. They don’t say to do that tho.

2 of my friends died from COVID last year, I’m not taking any chances both of them were much fitter and healthier than me or any of my family for that matter so we’re in full lockdown for now.

Its a weird situation. There are 7 of us in our house, and were treating it like we all have it, so no-one in/out for 10 days.
I built a small house in my garden a couple of years ago, and my nephew and his partner live there, but are often in and out of our house. She found out she is pregnant last week, so a bit of a worry for them. They went for a test yesterday.
If we had not of had tests, we would not have even known that any of us had it at all.

Yeah it’s awful, couldn’t even have a proper funeral for either of them and we’ve been friends for 20 years both left young families behind all because people couldn’t follow simple instructions.
