Right then, I have a customer who is adamant on having this longboard, no matter what I can't talk her out of it so I'm in 2 minds whether to swerve this job altogether. I've not touch the looselay for a long time now due to issues but the last one I did do I tackified and havnt heard of any issues... So what's the up to date experiences from you fitters that have installed this recently? It will be hallway leading into a kitchen diner approx 30m2 and has to big windows with 2 French doors so pretty much open to direct sunlight.
Stick with appropriate adhesive in grid according to Karndean....... did one job in this shite it failed and Karndeans response was to fully glue on ht adhesive..... not exactly loose lay then is it is walk away and let it become someone else’s issue
Just stick a nail in each corner and it will be fine ,I'm tempted to do that with the sample boards, with the shop getting cold during the night recently, all the looselay samples have started lifting off the boards
That’s a fail waiting to happen. Looselay is for fitting in the dark Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Cheers fellas, I had a convo with her this afternoon and agreed to do the carpets and ensuites but she'll have to get someone else in for the looselay, dont need the headache. She will consider a dryback but she wants the long boards
