What you guys using. Got 2 jobs coming up. Both pipe UFH

Got a sample of the new Wilson’s 10mm for UFH. Full of holes. Low tog. My fitter said it will flatten quick.

I’m a big fan of the Ball & Youngs (Radiance I think) although it’s been a while since I had an UFH job. If you want something a little thicker Venice is meant to be nice too but I haven’t used it.

Last lot of King I had wasn’t great but that long enough ago it’s probably changed. Or just use durafit if the carpet isn’t too high a tog...

Yeah I like radiance. I’ve used that Wilson underlay and it seemed ok. Also used the king and that was good

We always use roma. That wilson one looked junk when they sent the samples through

It is a bit naff the Wilson stuff, it probably has to be to let the heat through but it does feel a lot softer under the carpet than all the other rubber ones. My customer got it as they had rubber under the last house with ufh and they were never happy with how dense it felt.
Obviously wear may be a issue down the line
