Hi chaps, new forum member looking for some help, I need to cover a 600mm x 600mm area, the product says that for 1m2 I need 86g of part A and 40g of part B, how much do I need for 600 x 600 or at least what formula should I be using for calculations?
No idea, I'm absolutely useless with numbers of any sort, a friend seemed to think this was correct however after putting the product down at this calculation it's certainly not right...600mm x 600mm = 0.36m2., so you need 0.36 x 86 = 31g part A and 0.36 x 40g = 14.4g part B.
You need 30.96g of part A and 14.4g of part B as the area equates to 0.36sqm. can I ask why you are doing this though? If you have the quantities for 1sqm, just mix and use that. Either dispose of the remaining waste or put it on thicker
It will be a bit wasteful, but it might be worth mixing enough to do 1sqm,then use as much as is necessary to give you the coverage you want, then measure how much is left over, like i said, it's a bit wasteful, but at least you'll know in the future, how much to mix for the coverage you want
