Sub floor prep.. Rusty screws

Hi I'm lifting an Amitco floor because the screws have recacted with the feather edge... They've gone rusty and lifted on the screws creating a small bump in the floor. This floor was fitted by someone else around 10 plus ago. Is there any special prep needed to stop this happening again?

 

Use galvanised or stainless steel screws
I use reissers they have a coating on them

 

Was the timber floor moisture tested? If it’s old adm there’s moisture beneath it will fail no matter what you do
