LVT flooring advice gladly appreciated

I remember the first guy spent time screeding joints of ply but he literally threw joint compound down so it set in splodges all over the place

 

This guy sounds ruff. Pin meter on the concrete not a true reading. Dpm should of been used. Both those adhesives are naff. Lvt and sun doesn’t mix well at the best of times. It doesn’t sound stuck and I can guarantee over the course of the next 2 years your floor will shrink and gap like mad.

A mallet on glue down flooring ...well say no more...

What happened to the previous guy?

Them adhesives are crap in my opinion but do know fitters that use it still.
