Make sure you ask the fitter the reason for not acclimatising the lvt aswell

You sure you haven’t got a washing machine leaking? Or a spring under the house

    I’m
Going with either “dodgy batch of glue/flooring” or “you’ve got damp coming through subfloor”

I never acclimatise LVT, never had a problem, got told its safer to not on the floor skills course,
F ball do manufacture good adhesive, a lot of people have a hard on for the uzin I've noticed.
I will say one thing f ball green Primer is the worst don't understand why they havnt pulled that one from production

Uzin never makes me twitch but I just use an adhesive that works! Balls screed I like though.

Ive never heard of that tbh. I have, often installed unacclimated products, and have had very few problems.
Given the time though, I would always acclimatise if possible.
I like F-Ball products, and use them a fair bit. 2428 is my go to though.

Stops gapping, if it does expand when it gets to normal room temperature it will get tighter,
We've all seen lvt shrink more than expand

You know the score neily , leaving gear on site for 2 week with no heating, freezing in winter does that count as Acclimatising?
You've got to do what you can sometimes.

It only works if the products is installed and then kept at that temp but it hardly ever is,
I'd be more worried about shrinking than expanding with LVT

From looking at them picks it could be anything, cheap ply, damp ply, wrong adhesive, it's defiantly not been installed well

So the fitters came back, used a heat gun in places but still no joy. Said there could be something wrong with the edges of the planks as they don’t sit tight together and are not bevelled like others in the range. They took photos and have contacted Karndean for a response. They did agree it wasn’t right and will get back to me.

Ha so are they saying if they were bevelled then they would have stayed flat?

Karndean will laugh at them, obvious that the prep itself is not up to standard.
