What's pissing me off, is the companies sending out 2 or 3 new price lists a month, with immediate effect, so jobs I've already priced, i am now paying more for.
Even though I'm booking 3months ahead, I'm having to order everything immediately, i assume most companies are doing the same, which probably isn't helping with the stock situation

It’s really frustrating. I’m in the same boat I order and pay immediately to avoid any price hikes and get them to hold the stock until I’m ready. One supplies moaned about the amount they had on hold but after telling me the hikes were unfortunate but not their problem I just replied the same!

I'm storing everything in my warehouse, in a way, it's lucky suppliers are waiting for stock on quite a few things, as I've got nearly 70 jobs in the diary at the moment, but can't find any more fitters to get them out, i was planning on starting something new in August, but it looks like it's going to have to be put on hold, yet again
