Had a great day with a few lads at HTC/Husqvarna today trying out different machines with different segments on different areas

All 110v or did you get into 3 phase ?
We did about 250 sq. m of nasty grinding this week. couple of layers of paint, latex, adhesive... slooow.....
I was thinking 3 phase would be so much quicker, but that brings it own problems.
I did take some pics but my phones packed up

Sounds fun. The only time ive used 3 phase I had to also get a generator on site. Bit of a ball ache but much faster.

October is ending and I have thought about a generator. We just lost power for about 30 hours. I am so glad we had the whole house generator. No worry about having to throw away food. No worries about pipes freezing. In fact, it was just another day for us here as our cable and internet was still working. Ours will power everything in our house except the electric dryer. We invited others over who had no power and watched movies, etc. Not sure it pays out in dollars and cents, but definitely know it pays out in peace of mind. Everything is automatic so no worries if I'm traveling and the power goes out.

Do you use a gas or propane generator? We have a Generac generator, had only a few problems for these years, but are thinking about alternatives for the second house.
