I've had to use cheap ply a couple of times lately, due to my suppliers being out of stock of sp101, first lot was actually pretty good, second lot was complete shite, both sides were patched and rippled

    No its not SP101.
To be perfectly honest, its the cheapest '*flooring grade*' ply I could buy from a national distributer.
Once I price a job my costs are fixed. The increased costs of ply, mean using SP101 would put me at a significant loss.

What ever I deem suitable and decent quality preferably with EN 314-2 Class 3 E1 glue line which many other plywood have

I thought that being made to a standard, would mean the manufacturing would be consistent, but every batch of sp101 seams to be different, one batch will be heavier and harder to cut, the next will be really light and cut too easy. It wasn't that long ago, that i was thinking, paying £17 a sheet was expensive, even without recent events, the cost was constantly creeping up
