Hi was wondering if could get some help on a recent problem I have had with the sudden cold weather. I am using using ke66 as my usual glue and laying lvt in wet but have found it is not grabbing as it used to. Onto ply there are no problems but concrete floors the tile edges are causing problems. Tiles have been acclimatized and rolled but edges near skirts just not right. Is it the cold floor temperatures? Recommendations and advice please

Old concrete floors are very cold at the moment. Not good for LVT

Need to get some more heat in there.
Heater blowers or the heating ran low for a few days if its as cold as it is right now.

Or switch to Ke49 whilst it's freezing!

When the subfloor feels like a fridge the glue doesn’t work.

Sounds like the adhesive has cured dry by the time you’ve installed the lvt

What we found on a cold floor was even when a ps is left to dry as the vinyl warms it makes the glue condensate as the slabs cold beneath it and the vinyl is warm. Plus there’s water locked in the glue.

Would priming solve this? Ive primed before using a HT and its worked, different scenario just throwing it out there

Was karndean opus and also had same with universal. Always seem worse with big wide planks.
