Hi guys, I have to fill areas between two self levelling pours (hard to explain but basically I'm new to this and ran out of material on the first pour). Its not a big area and I need to skim/feather between 0 and 3mm deep but there are a couple of spots where it is up to 5mm.

I'm thinking of using either Ardex Feather Finish or Karndean Skim Coat. Any opinions on any of these? Any others I should consider?

If it matters, the SLC I used is Ardex K40hb and the top layer will be glued engineered wood.

    Thanks in advance!

Can’t you just use another bag of the levelling compound

I see your point and in one of the areas, yes I could. In another, I will need to trowel finish to a feather edge. Hard to explain without pictures but for some reason I cant upload them

Sounds like it needs a good buffing then a top up with some more screed to get the flow
