Hi guys, so bit of advice required if anyone has any input would be much appreciated. 1930s renovation.. floor area in extension 28m2 including kitchen and dining area with a snug attached and hallway. When the extension was being built we were asked for height of our flooring. At that point we were thinking engineered wood so specified 14mm so bifolds and kitchen have been fitted to allow for this. Whole area has UFH and 65mm screed which is completely dry now. We’re now thinking we’ve made a mistake and would rather have lvt for durability. These are much slimmer and so we’d have a gap of between 8-10mm… not keen on extra screws as not sure the UFH will be as effective. Any solutions or are we gonna have to suck up the engineered wood? thanks for any advice!
Can’t see extra levelling compound holding back the heat. Few extra coats will get you to the height. Not the cheapest option tho Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
