Is anyone else putting up there rates for next year. I`ve had to make increases across the board. Hopefully product prices will level off now, and fuel will come down a bit.
My labour went up in August for the shops I do the LVT's for, other than that I'll be going over everything during my break.
We did this year on labour across the board and will be more on materials next year as everything has gone up again. Bloody plywood.
I'm finding it weird with regards to plyboards from my supplier, their tech team must be pissed when they adjust the prices. Its all over the place at the min. Went up to £24 + vat now it'd back down to £19.70 + vat. Might just buy the whole lot and sell it on for a profit
Timber prices fluctuate just as fuel does. It's whether the wholesale passes that on, as we know fuel stations don't.
On the shop, prices only goes up if the goods do. As for my personal prices, I put them up every September.
I don`t think my supply & install rates have gone up for about 5 years, maybe more. Install only rates seem to have gone down, until this year, when there has been a small uplift. There is defiantly a shortage of labour now, which should push rates up
My labour rates have gone up slightly this year, but will be having another look at them for next year, labour rates have always been slow to increase, when i started working with my dad in 1977,i think it was a£1 sqyd for carpet and that didn't really increase until the mid 90's, as Neil said, there's a labour shortage at the moment, so we should take advantage of that while it lasts, i bet every other trade is
Defo need to put rates up. I’m being offered extra money to get jobs done or take dates from other customers. It’s silly. Timber should be coming done next year. All these materials increases have been a joke. They just making a killing while everyone has nothing else to spend thier money on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wait for the screed increase to smash in over the next month. All the lithium is being bought up by the electric car companies...
