Hi all, Newbie here, so be gentle. What should I be expecting to pay for this product above?.... Amtico form barrel oak. I've contacted several suppliers, both those verified Amtico suppliers and those not so. Of course, prices vary it seems from one to another, but does anyone know why there is such massive variation? Is it due to individual contracts with Amtico and volumes of product sold, or do I need to be wary of those at the cheaper end being graded products? It does appear that "some" of the approved Amtico suppliers are as competitive as the non approved. Any advice in this would be appreciated. Finally, what are the views on this product (I understand it's a newish line) in terms of fitting and finish? Ta very much.
Somewhere between 50-60 I think. We had several quotes for Cowie Oak, they ranged from 50-60 from authorised sellers.
Also, there's a particular supplier out there who's prices are almost half the RRP. I did some digging on them and it turned out their flooring products were either fakes or bad replicas. Someone did a comparison and despite them having the same product from Amtico, and then another order of the same stuff from the online supplier, the products were a different colour. Check the Amtico website for details as they published a few things about that particular online seller.
