This must be a good time for fraudsters and scammers! The text I have just received seems the perfect opportunity to catch flooring companies off guard, tricking them into handing over personal data, log-in details and ultimately – their hard earned cash. The text reads: “Hi there is this parquet floor fixable? My builder has, said it is beyond repair. A file’s been sent to you. Tap the link below to download it.... (link to: share.vodaphone.com etc.) I wonder if any others in our trade have been contacted out of the blue with what at first glance looks like a genuine enquiry. Have you been asked to share personal details? Scammers use many different methods and are developing new clever techniques all the time to try and steal sensitive data. Bob
