    Hi Nick58,
seems a good product, HOWEVER VERY OVERPRICED at £120 - £140 + blades approx. £16 for 10 . Anyone else think its far to expensive? and aside, from a shoddy made` Trimmaster` can anyone else suggest a tool for cutting in domestic sheet vinyl. Thanks.

i just use those cheap plastic romus trimmers and i never have any issue

it tends to work perfectly for vinyl thats 2.5mm, but if its any thicker, you just have to put a piece of the vinyl you're cutting onto the base, and its bang on again

im sure the wolff tool works perfectly, but its not the cheapest, especially when the romus jobby does the exact same thing

I'm actually going to take back what I said. I saw a little video from wolff tools in France, and they showed how to adjust the gadget. I think it looks very handy indeed.

If I see one in the suppliers, I'll definitely take a look

Would you advise putting a scrap of vinyl on both parts of the Romus Base forward & back? Thanks.

I literally just use an off cut of the material and place the trimmer on top, then go ahead and use it. I've seen guys stick the piece of material on the bottom of the trimmer, but then when you take it off to use the trimmer on another material, the glue does still be on the trimmer and it ends up marking the material, so don't bother doing that is my advice
