Abingdon Stainfree Ultra vs Smartchoice Smart Care Elite

I'm looking for some advice on the best quality carpet for our bedrooms. We liked the quality and have heard good things about Abingdon Stainfree Ultra and discounted the Invictus because of flattening but the carpet showroom also showed us the Smartchoice Smart Care Elite 45oz in the ash colour which looked nice. With either carpet we will be getting 11mm cloud nine underlay.

How does the Smartchoice Smart Care Elite compare with Abingdon Stainfree Ultra and do Abingdon Stainfree Ultra have a colour similar to the ash?

We do a lot of Abingdon ultra and find it’s a great carpet. Not used the other one.

 

So, I went on a deep dive looking for this Smartchoice stuff... and from the looks of things it is actually Abingdon, and i'm pretty sure it's the old Stainfree Elite stock... So with that in mind, and the recent upturn in quality from Abingdon now they've got Victoria bankrolling them (the absolute ease of getting Balta is going to be a bit weird in a month or so...) i'd say got for the Ultra.
