If i know lvt is going down, i cut the bar and put double sided tape on it. I can kick it into the bar or fix it to the floor, it doesnt bother me. Whatever the next fitter wants me to do is what id do. If i dont know the fitter i guess id fit it into the bar and put tape on the bottom but not fix it to the floor so that its not a trip hazard. The diference is, i cant physcially finish something like that to the point of it not needing to be touched. How would you like to cut back the ply and lvt of 3 doorways 5 days a week because someone else cant template their ply properly
Not having a dig, just needed to see how you would di it, as most would just flap it in and leave for next person to do that room
