    Hi Guys

Been reading this forum over the past few weeks, level of knowledge is amazing. Hoping for a bit of help please.

Looking for as realistic a wood-effect LVT floor as we can get, laid parquet. But, on a budget - £35-45 per sq m (or cheaper if it exists)

We've had a look at Amtico (way out of budget, but on display everywhere) and their Signature Priory Oak was nicest though too dark, but, I really didn't like the "Tick" finish. The Barnwood finish almost feels more fake than Tick, as its too rough.

    So what LVT
    - Feels like wood
    - Looks like wood
    - bevelled edges
    - not crazy priced
    - glue down
    - for kitchen/dining/living

I've seen a bunch of recommendations, but mostly 18+ months old.

    Grateful for thoughts - thanks

J2 have some good looking tiles but is a bigger parquet tile (4”x 18”) I think.

Harmony Parquet by Lg-Hausys (0.7 wear layer, registered emboss) and the Distinctive Landscape/Wildwood parquets are quite nice. I reckon the Harmony will be in your price bracket more or less.

@merit - roughly how much would I be looking at per sq m. I don't have a trade ac. Does it have bevelled edges?

Also, not heard much about Harvey Maria M series

I've heard a floorlayer go on about this down the counter, how you get hold of samples? Is it a rep?

Need more budget lvts for the customers.
Sierra have stepped their parquet up which I must say is the best fitment out of them all o_O

Ask your rep mate. Got my samples last week and already sold one job in the Boulevard.

I'm onto the rep Owen now from Solent.
I'm outside the postcode area for carpets he says but palletised goods is OK.

Any chance you can help me out?

I'm in London, but have a mate based nearby who can collect samples.
But, they won't sell samples to anyone without an account.

Do you have an account with Solent and would you mind arranging for 3 samples, please?
    Natural Oak
    Rich Oak
    Barn Oak

My mate Sam can pay on collection, they seemed fine with that. I just need someone to arrange it.

Review from what I've seen on samples so far:

    Amtico Form
Barnwood finish, this is so reflective it is completely unrealistic.
The embossing also doesn't follow what's underneath.

    Polyflor - Expona
    Not convincing at all.

    Amtico Signature
    Priory oak - Tick finish
The Tick finish is completely unrealistic. It it just a uniform texturing.

    J2 Flooring - Rustic Timbers
Embossing is too pronounced and doesn't follow the wood knots.

    Polyflor Camaro Wood PUR
Its very similar to J2 Rustic.
Embossing is a bit too pronounced and doesn;t follow the wood grains.

    Harvey Maria M - Oak:
Not very reflective, so does not show the embossing easily - a good thing. But, where there are wood knots, the texture of the board doesn't change.

Harvey Maria M - Spring Oak:
    Better texture on the embossing.
Embossing follows the wood grain better.

Harvey Maria is generally much better feel than Amtico.

J2 Flooring - Natural Timbers Range
This is the best so far.
Great embossing, not too deep or pronounced.
Embossing nicely follows the wood grain.
Unfortunately, in the parquet colour range, I don't like any !
