Hi, I’m looking for some advice on how to do a curved border using amitco form.

I’m about to have my herringbone amitco floor fitted and I was hoping to have a block border, but have a large curved section. My fitter has told me I can’t have a border on the curved sectioned- it can’t be done. But I have seen lovely photos online and from your previous posts of curved borders.
So how do you curve the amitco planks?

If your fitter is not offering it then he doesn't know how to do them, it's not an easy task and takes time and patience.

    What size are your planks?

It can be done, just not by him, you just have to remake the border, I'm not saying he's a bad fitter, just a bit limited in his capability or doesn't want to spend the time doing it

Thanks for your replies. I got the impression he just didn’t want to spend the time doing it. The planks are the smaller sized ones, I’m not sure of the size - are they 3x9

Curves borders should just be standard practice to any lvt fitter worth their weight
