    Hi all,

I’m not a professional and I’m overwhelmed by all the products and information out there- I also don’t have a lot of money so can’t afford to make any bad decisions (already made one and had to resell at a huge loss).

I have a flat that needs new flooring. It’s an old building with timber floorboards. I have 2 little children - one stomps his feet when he’s angry and I am worried about wood flooring transferring noise but came across cork planks (cork flooring that looks like oak planks) by HARO.

Do any of you have any experience of HARO or cork? Will it help with impact noise? Do you need a specific underlay with it and would I need to find a specialise fitter?

Any advice is welcome… this has been going on for 3 months for me and I still have not made any progress. I’m in north London.

Cork is not very hard wearing unless you can seal it.
