I had the stair carpet fitted in January. Initially i was happy with the job but a little while later the carpet seemed to look baggy. The edges of the tread were bulging as if the carpet has not been stretched properly or cut enough maybe? It also feels like the grippers are not able to grab onto the carpet because the underlay that was recommended is possibly too thick? Are my assumptions right? The fitter has already been out to rectify some of this but the problem still remains on a lot of the treads. Am i being picky or is this a bad job?
