Fill channel in with CH pipes

    Have a small channel to fill in, approx 90cm wide but 40/50mm deep. Has central heating pipes in there. Customer having laminate over the top, is it ok to pour ardex NA in there to cover them and bring the floor back level?

    NA doesn’t go that deep unless you use aggregate. Pipes should be lagged

    It’s only meant to go 30mm so you might wanna bulk out the base with something first

    Yes I know mate, but to keep costs down and already having NA lying about, coupled with the floating floor going over it, would it be ok? I’m leaning towards it would be, just looking for reassurance haha

    Or put it a bit thinner and a45/a46 it level?

    If you have it laying around I would just fill the base with sand or aggregate and then mix the levelling compound with the same to bulk it
