    Hi all,

We've just had a lovely infestation of carpet moths in our living room, so are looking to rip out the existing carpet and underlay and get it replaced.
I'm not exactly brimming with cash, so can probably stretch to around £30 per sq metre for the carpet itself. Ideally it would be 100% man made (as my o/h fears getting moths again), or maybe an 80/20 mix - with a reasonable pile length (maybe 10mm+).

Any recommendations out there for brand/collection? I've seen a few mentioned, such as Vivendi Soul, Victoria Heartland Ultra and Abingdon Stainfree Ultra (and to avoid Cormar!) - but really am a complete noob when it comes to carpets

Thanks in advance if anyone can give a bit of advice.

Stick to polyprop if you’ve had moth problems I would go the Victoria heartlands ultra route and £30m2 on a 80/20 won’t get you much worth buying, with all the price increases recently you should be looking from £40m2 +

Abingdons are good carpets. And some of the invictus stuff is good

For that budget Victoria Heartland Ultra would be my recommendation.

We went with Victoria Ultimate Impressions in the end - I fortunately managed to get some offcuts that fit the dimensions of the rooms and stairs we need it for quite well - and it worked out at about £14 per m2 (excl underlay and fitting)
