I have 53 sheets of 9mm ply to fix, onto a ceramic tile floor. Its an old Lidl store I think.
Has anyone ever used a concrete nailer through ceramic with any success ?

Are you planning on using adhesive aswell? What type of nailer? I'm just wondering if the smooth shank and small head would pull through if it decided to warp

No adhesive. A Spit Pulsa 800, probably 40mm pins

Always used to use F3 over raised access. Stuck like f*uk. This is just shuttering ply, so its nicely twisted.
Im fixing it tomorrow so will see. Ive bought 700 screws, so if the nailer fails, then its brown plugs & screws.
    Will be a long day....

I was waiting for someone to pull me up, and tell me what a twat I am.
Story is, it`s just a height building exercise, and will have about 80mm and 8 ton of acoustic floor going over it.

Could you not get a laser line on it and just nail through the grout or was it too close

We used about 700 fixings, and just one 7mm sds bit. Started at 7 and was done by 2. The pic above is what will be going over the ply wood, with a 40mm tile on top.

Its a Freeweight, functional and plate loaded floor.
Made up of different sound reduction materials, for the different areas & uses.
The spec was that all areas must be level, but the make up was different.
