    Hi there,

I've received a quote from Tapi to install LVT Dryback in my living room and hallway for a new build. Around 23m2 connecting at the doorway.
The new build is currently just concrete floor.

I was told initially that if I chose Dryback appose to tongue/grove that there shouldn't be any additional charges to the fitting. The quote has come back at £360 for fitting and around £500 for floor prep. Does that sound right? What kind of floor prep would be needed in this situation?

    Thanks

Without seeing it impossible to tell. Fitting sounds fair, prep could also be fair. There’s too many variables that could alter prep price

New build will need a surface dpm unless already been done and screeding, prices sound too low to be fair.

Depends how bad your subfloor is. We’ve had new builds that need a double coat of latex.
