Hi, we have light Karndean all over our downstairs and it’s nightmare to keep clean especially with 2 large dogs. Even if I try to clean needs a good scrub. Really tempted to put some kind of Sealer over it.
You could try cleaning it with karndean remove occasionally, then go over with clean water and hoover it up with a wet and dry vac to prevent dragging the loose dirt back into the joints and texture
Customer of mine had me fit the scandi KT herringbone throughout the ground floor beginning of December, I went back to finish the last room last week and the state of it, dirty joints where they've not cleaned it well enough and she reckons it gets regular mops....but doesn't vac or sweep it properly before the mopping. Hard to keep clean especially if you have pets. Good thorough hand and knee job then get sealer, never was a fan of the sealers but seen quite a few now and really does lift the floor again
Thank you everyone. It’s staying nice & white few hours after cleaning but that’s it. Can you recommend some sealer we could buy & apply ourselves. We’re in UK.
