I'm looking for a stairs and hallway carpet that specifically is durable and long lasting to stand up to a med/lrg sharpei dog that likes to bolt up and down the stairs and two kids that will at times I'm sure disregard any no shoes rules etc, I want something that I can clean often I'm not at all bothered about underfoot feel or softness or premium looking but something that is bang for the buck and will last budget between 18-28 per sqm closer to budget if possible unless it makes a big difference ive been looking at Victoria carpets freedom, heartland and impressions, primo ultra and lano heather twist elite with cloud 9 underlay just from looking at forum recommendations
thanks, ive narrowed it down to heartland or abingdon stain free Maximus which I think is an updated ultra after seeing that these two as you recommended are tailored more towards being the most hard wearing ranges
Maximus is quite a softish thick carpet from what I remember, fitted a house in the maximus and ultra, ultra being on the stairs and landings (attic landing too) for the same reason.
