Ply splintered at edges

I’m a DIYer laying my first LVT, and I cut my 9mm SP101 boards with a jigsaw and circular saw, and no matter how it splintered the ply badly.
Consequently I have splintered edges that are (mainly) around the edge of my bathroom floor and landing. the splinters are up to about 8-10mm from the edge.
Should I ardex feather edge the edges, then sand, or just sand them so there are no loose pieces. Would the adhesive still stick the LVT to the edge ( its only the edges).
Silly question but I dont want to balls up my first floor !

What type of blade did you use on your jigsaw ?

 

One it came with - what blade should I use in future ?

 

A clean cut blade

 

If the circular saw is not cutting neat you need a blade with more teeth
