Hey we are looking to replace the living room carpet and looking for something which is hard wearing and less likely to flatten after 2 to 3 years.

Some carpet in our short list are Abingdon Ultra and the Cormar Inglewood..
We like the soft feel of the Inglewood but we are concerned because if the longer pile it will flatten quickly.

We are looking for advice really and is there something like the ultra but with the Inglewood soft feel.

Some advice on underlay would also be appreciated.

It's household is 2 adults ( out at work most days) and a mad cocker spaniel

We look forward to your advice.

    Wool carpet won’t flatten.
But if you don’t want wool I’d look at Victoria heartland.

Polypropylene is the quickest to flatten then Polyester then Nylon (polyamide)

    Most Cormars are Polypropylene.

A good nylon or non flattening carpet is Lano Smartstrand
