Hi all. Am about to install some Recork tiles. I've tested some sample offcuts on the subfloor i'll be fitting to. Using Wakol Cork adhesive. Out of interest can anyone tell me how strong I should expect the bond to be? I can lift a test tile with a finger against the edge or a stripping knife but am bearing in mind the finished floor won't have these edges showing. The glue is really some sort of latex glue that contact-bonds so not sure how solid a bond it ever really achieves compared to say PVA glue with wood. Have had to grind the self-level-cpd to get it flat enough, I will be priming the ground areas but am concerned about how good the bond will be there. Hope some has has experience with this Marko
yes thats the stuff. Its a very strong grip but you can peel it apart. Just wondered if thats normal, that the bond is strong but not sort concrete-strong if you will
