Hi All, I was looking at Cormar primo plus carpets and the showroon said don't touch them and directed me to Westex silken velvet chic collection which does look a good carpet. Having said the when you look at google reviews they dont look very good. Any advice and recommendations would be appricated please
Apples and oranges comparison to be honest. One is a cheapish Polypropylene the other a high end Polyamide. They have different properties and longevities. The cheap one will flatten quicker and wear sooner, but is bleach cleanable so you can get almost anything out of it. The polyamide doesn't crush as easy and will come back to life with each vacuum for the majority of its life. It also has stain protection but you are unable to use bleach solutions on it. The best thing to do is decide on the kinds of things you need from a carpet and then look at which material fits those needs in your budget.
A polypropylene carpet, Cormar Primo Plus is typically more affordable, easier to clean with bleach, but it might not have the durability or robustness of more expensive choices. Although the Westex Silken Velvet Chic is a polyamide carpet, which often provides higher durability, traffic recovery, and general quality, it does not take bleach as well. Whether your needs from the carpet are stain resistance, durability, or simplicity of cleaning, take traffic the area will get into account. If you want something durable and long-lasting, the more expensive polyamide carpets like the Westex could be well worth the price. Reviewing materials and, if at all feasible, seeing samples in person assist one to better appreciate them. Hope this help
