Tackify the underlay down then bond the carpet to the underlay. Sisal should be acclimatised too. I would recommend getting a fitter though as it is a fussy floor to fit
Yeah I know what you mean by getting a pro but I like to do things myself. Maybe I should have told you the plan I already have and asked for any further advice. I plan to use F3 on both the risers and treads to fit the underlay and leave a 2 cm gap incase I need to.fold over the edge of the carpet. I have got grippers with tape on each step. I have the sisal already but will lay out before I start. Then I plan to do the carpet fitting in smaller sections incase I need to replace over time. Got lots of spares. I will also fit the sisal with F3 and leave a over hang there for a couple of days before cutting. I will also be using modge podge (similar to pva) on each cut. I'm thinking maybe staple at some points? The sisal I have can easily hide them. Any other tips? Or is my thinking totally off and I need a pro lol
