i have seen a thread about this on another forum and i know one of our members was asking and as there is a major health hazard with these tools i have started this thread.

    So freeley :D

Be very carefull trying to cut any curve with the exact saw. DONT try and cut a toilet out. These saws work well for straight edges but they do have a major problem.

They are known for kicking backwards without warning. Also while doing a few cuts saw dust jams the base open s when it kicks back the blade stays exposed. (i will find a picture of me uncles thumb after it went over the top)

When using a exact saw make sure you hold with both hands. NEVER have one hand holding the material in place! Always kneal on the product your cutting and keep both hands on the saw.

Trust me, it has almost had me a few times and i know alot of fitters that have had a few stiches after using one.

Ps the green one is fine for plywood. You only need the purple one if your cutting 6mm +

I wondered what was going on - i'd just joined their forum and seen some of your posts and thought "this guy knows his stuff", next minute you were banned, and tedmaced and gripper as well.
Was it because you'd started your own forum, they didn't like the competition eh?
