what type of flooring do you prefer fitting, i prefer wood floors cos it is nice to create something different for the customers

i like karndean when doing boarder work.

Also wood as well but not to many people have designs in the wood.

In fact i like doing the same with carpet also.....

I'm i bit of a do it all kinda fella, there is'nt much i don't enjoy doing but depends on what side of the bed i woke up on!

I'm with matt on the karndean and borders, also enjoy cap and cove
I don't enjoy fitting the real cheap felt backed carpets and cheap wiltons straight to the floor!!

Also like fitting engineered and solid wood, but not so keen on all this cheap laminate iv been doing recently.

    Hardwood floors

Hardwood floors are very valuable and would cost a lot of money to replace!

I love Artigo rubber tiles stuck on epoxy.

At least that's what i'm telling myself cos i've got 6 weeks of it to do.

    I wish!
4 rooms 100sm each, spreading it on my own.
Thomsit rep specified it because they're south facing first floor areas with huge windows (classrooms in a new school build), he said if i used the normal adhesive i'm using elsewhere then i'd have problems.

I've done 2 so far, one is fine but in the other the joins on the tiles look crap, there's a curve on the ends of the tiles and the epoxy doesn't quite have enough grab to take them out 100%. The tiles are fully bonded so i don't think i'll have any problems with it but it's been a major worry these last few days with regards to the architect accepting it.

But have heard this afternoon that he's ok with it and to carry on so have breathed a huge sigh of relief.
Have got the builders to get some extra heat for the rest of the rooms, and will attempt to weight the joints as well to make sure, but will be a mammoth task to weight every tile in a room that size.

Could post some pics but can't be arsed at the moment, have just cracked open the cider and intend to have a few cos i've been stressed right out this week.

I enjoy doing lvt's, I find all the prep, setting out and the finished job very satisfying. Dont get too much opportunity to do them though.
