Big companies let you DOWN

Bad day yesterday!!!! I aranged to collect an order from Interfloor (because they take so long to deliver)
Rep got me the codes to get past the gate, got into dispatch to be told that the good were not available 80 miles round trip for nothing.
Rep said sorry and they would send the goods direct to my customer the next day, When I told her that the customer was in Italy they did not want to KNOW!!!!!!

 

Nobody seems to care anymore.You would think that they want to jump thru hoops but no chance.I have been trying to get a Mercado rep to drop off a diary since november (flippin diary) get my own dont bother you havent got any.Seems in this trade "it is what it is".I wish he would just say "Martin mate i dont have any and im happy!.
I feel for you having to waste your time and money on fuel and also let down.

They promised to put right today I have been calling the rep and office getting no reply and I think they have not sent it again which means I will end up letting two customers down and my reputation starts to follow theirs down the pan!!!

Not let me down personally .... but affected me ...

But had a customer phone me up the other week to fit some vinyl for her in the bathroom, said she had ordered it from carpet $hite and would collect it herself ...

she calls me and says i can't do the vinyl because the guy at the store wouldn't cut the vinyl off the role for her and she would have to come back the following day because it was to late ( 4pm)

Now this is what i call customer service :roll: :roll:

She even offered to cut it of herself but he wouldn't let her ...

 

Because thier fitter isnt being used for the job they are taking their ball in.Why is she using them anyway?.I did a job for a shop locally to me B4 CRIMBO.It was a carpetright supply with thirty quid delivery charge because the customer using a different fitter.The customer asked the delivery man/fitter to put the carpet in the said room.No said the man delivery only.They lost the rest of the house due to their ways so if any fitter on here defends carpetrong then you are guilty of their ways also.
