Karndean or Amtico

I am looking for some informed opinion and/or good advice please

We are looking to replace our kitchen and, at the same time, will likely renew our kitchen floor.
We were assuming that floor renewal would involve pulling up the installed quarry tiles.

One potential kitchen installer advised that this was unnecessary and that we could cover the existing tiles with a Karndean or Amtico floor covering.

We will likely pursue this option and are currently assessing the options. Based on the limited amount I have seen and read, the consensus appears to be that Amtico is a better quality covering than is Karndean.

Our kitchen is relatively large [approx 22m2] and is a heavy traffic area – we have dogs and usually enter the house via the back door and the kitchen.

We are looking for a good quality, durable floor covering. At this moment in time, I am think of going with the Amtico Essentials range which comes with a 20yr guarantee.

    Is this the best option?
What would be the likely installed cost per m2 for this?

If we decide to proceed with an Amtico covering, I understand that it would need to be installed by an Amtico trained/approved fitter in order to validate the guarantee.

We live in Cheshire, do you know of an Amtico approved/trained fitter that we might consider to do this work for us.

    Thanks in advance,

you will get bored of amtico before the warenty goes even though it is the best tile on the market but its mainly aimed for shops that get a lot of traffice it is the best tile for fitters to fit and only we can tell the difference but if i was you id go for polyfloor, karndean cheapest tile knite tile is rubish and the rest are over priced so i would go for poly floor and you wouldnt be able to tell the difference
i dont live far from you and if you want me to send you samples to show you you can contact me on 07966628144
